Be sure to join us for the Prince George Potters Guild's 47th Annual Great Northern Chili Cookoff. Twelve teams will be competing this year to see who has the best chili, and we expect our local politicians, celebrities, and arts cheerleaders to be presenting their finest recipes. The chili bowls are a real draw – they are all hand-crafted and beautifully made by our local potters, and over the years have been enthusiastically collected by our supporters.
The competition is exciting and this is a unique and tasty way to celebrate and support the both the culinary and fine arts. This is something our whole community looks forward to, so be sure to join us. Buy a bowl to take home, taste the chili, vote for your favourite team! This is a not-to-be-missed event.

The Top Taste Challenge is one of the most anticipated segments of the upcoming BC Gourmet Arts Festival. This high-stakes competition always brings a twist of excitement and a dash of heat to the festivities.
2023’s secret ingredient (which is obviously not a secret) is sure to light a fire under the competitors: Haunted Peach hot sauce. A fusion of fiery heat and sweet, this hot sauce promises to add a unique flavor profile to the challenge. But here's the twist: competitors can't just add a few dashes on top of their creations. The Haunted Peach must be integrated into the dish, becoming an integral part of the flavor, not just an afterthought.
Last year the Top Taste Challenge participants showcased a diverse array of culinary skills and creativity. This year's edition promises to be even more exciting. So, are you ready for a fiery culinary adventure? Whether you're a competitor, a food lover, or a casual festival-goer, you won't want to miss this spicy challenge.
