About The Community Arts Council

Our Mission
Our mission is to foster the arts, by providing events, programs and services, to residents and artists in our community.

Our Vision
We will lead the development of our community into a recognized centre of creativity; a place where art has no boundaries.

The Community Arts Council of Prince George & District has been a vital part of the cultural, social, and economic story of Prince George district for more than 50 years. Our organization was established to expand artistic endeavours throughout the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. Our 245 members provide a broad range of services and programs that contribute to the spirit of innovation, ingenuity and open-mindedness for our region. We are professional and emerging artists, performers, ensembles, artisan guilds and cultural organizations. The heart of our organization is Studio 2880, situated on the traditional unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, since 1976. Residents and visitors alike who wish to purchase locally created artworks, access and benefit from the unique educational programs and services visit us here.
